Notes on a Dry Land: No. 1
On December 28, 2011, I walked in a circle around the eastern-most barn on our family farm and made 11 photographs over a period of 7 minutes, forming a sequential perspective. I recently learned the Bechers referred to this as “Abwicklungen, a term loosely translated as ‘unwinding’ or ‘unfolding.’’
